Well, in the wee hours of this morning, I might’ve gone to bed, but I was tweaking some technical details on this here blog and I didn’t. I was too interested to go to sleep. Then I hit my second wind, and I couldn’t go to sleep. I stayed up and tweaked and tweaked and tweaked. Then I got painfully bored. Then, around 0645 I made myself head off to bed.

The sun was coming up right around then. As I lay on my side, spooning with my sleeping wife and gazing out the window right next to our bed, the sun was up, but low in the sky. There was a breeze rustling the leaves on the trees between my view and the sun, so that every so often the sun winked at me for so brief a time that I could look right at it without hurting because of it. It was absolutely beautiful.

I was giving my site logs a quick scan the other day, just to see if I had any visitors from exotic places. Consequently, I did see that I got six hits from Seychelles, which according to the CIA is “group of islands in the Indian Ocean, northeast of Madagascar.”

Anyway, as I flipped through the logs for anything interesting or unusual, I came across a table that listed search results that people had used to find my blog.

Only one search was shown, with only one occurance. This either means my logs are incomplete, or this is a record of the very first time someone ever found my blog in a search engine. The search term used was…

“deep boy asshole”

I am not joking.

I am, however, about to vomit. Excuse me.

No readers! Yes! I have outlasted you all! HA HA HA!

Well, okay, maybe that’s a little premature. I subscribed to a service that tells me how many people subscribe to me, but since I just started it nobody’s watching The Dr. Synonymous Variety Show and Celebrity Roast.

Personally I’d love it if that counter stayed right at zero, with a capital ZERO.
