One of the nice things about WordPress (the engine that powers this blog) is that it links directly to an RSS feed of news and information on the WordPress home page. If there’s a new version, or some other news directly relevent to the software, I know about it immediately.
Just a moment ago, I checked the feed and on it was a link to a web site that offered to check to see if any URL I was interested in was banned in China. Grinning, I decided to check out whether or not this blog is banned in China.
I’m laughing hysterically right now. I’m indecent! I’m subversive! I’m a threat to the great Communist Party of China! The People have Spoken!

Well, it was a nice little ego boost to think so, anyway. For about 5 seconds.
What follows is a screenplay of small importance lampooning recent events on a web forum of even smaller importance, all written by a man who — geologically speaking — is of no importance at all.
Enjoy.
All I can say about this is:
Steve Jobs as George Bush on . . . iRack.
Why was mass at my Church never this interesting?
Fair warning: I’m liable to get a little vulgar here.
This from CNN: Mercedes’ Fish-Inspired Car
Two words: Holy shit.
Recently, a friend of mine offered to ask any interested reader of his LiveJournal 5 personal questions about them that he wanted the answers to.
If you can stand to be infected by (yet another) meme, here are my responses to the questions he asked me.
Recently, I participated in a rather nauseating discussion on why some people felt like it was okay to torture “illegal combatants” which the United States had taken prisoner and were holding in Gitmo.
If you’ve the stomach for it, here are a few quotes which inspired my rage, and my venting of that rage.
