If you’ve been wondering why America is so screwed up, here it is.
You know, I think if our own government took this customer service-oriented approach to running the country, we could do away with all these silly elections and whatnot.
It’s not like we’ve got time to watch the pretend news on the cable subscription we pay for with imaginary money anyway, right?
I’ve posted this before, but YouTube killed the link last time.
Here we are, folks — a debate on foreign policy between President Bush and Governor Bush.
Some people think we need more law, more cops, more government authority, and more gun control in order for society to be a safer place to live.
I’m here to say that society will not be truly safe from its most deadly enemy until we’ve got so many guns that Yamamoto was right.
Here’s why.
Recently, I participated in a rather nauseating discussion on why some people felt like it was okay to torture “illegal combatants” which the United States had taken prisoner and were holding in Gitmo.
If you’ve the stomach for it, here are a few quotes which inspired my rage, and my venting of that rage.
This is me still ranting at crazy people who think it’s okay to torture terrorist suspects in order to get information out of them.
Recently, after I read someone trying to trumpet laissez-faire capitalism as the One True Solution To America’s Ills, and I just couldn’t take it anymore.
I want the government the hell out of my life, but I’ve also seen one Enron too many to believe that it’s that simple.
Here is the drivel, and how I responded.
In that vein, I’d like to explain to you some recent Security Alert developments here in The Land of the Free.
Hmm. Cigarette taxes, alcohol taxes, now I’m reading about people who say we need soda taxes, fat taxes, these taxes and more — all of which are conceived of under the pretense of making us reduce consumption by raising the cost.I say what we really need is a. . .
For those of you who are concerned about future terrorist attacks, especially to my brothers and sisters in citizenship here in America, I’d like to share with you an unpleasant thought.
